WP SECURITY TOOLS 0.4.1
Set up with confidence
Follow a clear path from installation to testing. Review each setting in staging, check your integrations, and bring verified changes to production.
Getting started
- Back up your site and prepare a staging environment running WordPress 6.6 or later and PHP 8.1 or later.
- Upload the ZIP under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, activate WP Security Tools, and open Settings → Security tools.
- Review each option, save your settings, and export a JSON backup. Test sign-in and XML-RPC clients before deploying your changes.
Security you can manage
Useful logs. Local data.
Review logins, role changes, and plugin activations. Records stay in your WordPress database, with thirty-day retention and batch cleanup.
Session controls that fit your workflow
Enable idle logout when you need it. XML-RPC restrictions are optional: check the clients and services that depend on it before making a change.
Settings that move with you
Import and export validated JSON, retain configuration snapshots, and choose from fourteen languages without changing the WordPress interface language.
